Shuts-off the water supply tubing during use, for instance, to allow for system alterations or cleaning, especially advantageous for larger layouts with side branches.
At the same time, it is possible to remove the new shut-off valve with the help of a screw-on clamp connection. This is particularly interesting in layouts, in which parts of the system need to be regularly removed at the end of the season.
